LexEurope supports its clients in the management of conflicts arising among players of the business world, taking into account the specific details unique to each situation: the implications of various legal systems, differences of culture and languages, urgency, power struggles, safeguarding of an established business partnership, financial stakes, etc…
Through its services, LexEurope seeks to restore relationships between its clients and their business partners, who have become their adversaries.
Conscious of the paralysing nature of litigation procedures and from the standpoint of keeping the drive and durability of business relationships intact, LexEurope seeks to find negotiated solutions where there is a disagreement and each time where possible, before considering any litigation procedure in French Courts.
LexEurope is able to propose ADR services and recourse to mediation.
According to CMAP'S (Centre of mediation and arbitration of Paris) www.cmap.fr mediation is: “a friendly and confidential method to resolve conflicts. Its objective is to propose, to the parties in conflict, the intervention of an independent and impartial third party trained in mediation to help them find a negotiated solution, in conformity with their respective interests, putting an end to the litigation.”
This alternative resolution method is efficient and makes it possible to avoid a litigation procedure which can sometimes have radical consequences and very often result in a hostile climate for doing business.
LexEurope formalized its commitment in favour of mediation in October 2006 via the signature of “the Charter of Law firms for Mediation” prepared by the ACE (the French Association of Business Lawyers).
